Hi,
@drodrig,
Have you replaced your mouse yet? If so what did you end up with? If not, this is what I am thinking:
I'm also in the market for a new mouse. I've gone through a couple this year because the company refuses to buy decent mice. So either I use the mini hand-cramping wireless ones...
Awesome.
The JT2Go program shows the cgm file as multiple sheets.
It seems that Catia does output a multi-page cgm file just fine even if it can't open them.
The suggested program works great, thanks Tikito

Hello!
So far my morning is not going well...
Our customer is requiring us to send them our main assembly 2d drawing as a single CGM file.
It has 4 sheets.
I can save them all individually, but I cannot figure out how to save them as one multipage file.
I've tried to change...
Thanks for all the replies.
Generally we do not treat the holes as a pattern. And they are attaching the cover to the tray. The engineers typically use the bottom of the pack as datum A and pick two holes as Datum B and C. They then dimension everything back to the main surface and two main...
I can't get CATIA to put the datum leader where it should go.
Please take a look at the attached picture. The left side is what I am trying to get with the datum leader attached to the dimension. When I click on the dimension to place the leader it just goes to the edge of the circle (right...
This situation comes up a lot in our parts. Take a look at the attached picture. It is a cover that gets bolted down to the rest of the assembly by the four holes in the pattern.
Basically, say we have 4 holes that are the same size. The engineer wants to use 1 of the holes as datum B and one...
In our current template we have a revision table. The table is located at the top right of the main sheet, and also located on its own sheet, Table_Revision.
When you double click on the main sheet table to edit the revision table, it brings you over to the Table_revision sheet and allows you...
So, sorry for the triple post, but I figured out the answer on my own. You guys are too slow.
Successfully gusseted bracket:
Final tool shape:
I have also attached a copy of the tool part if anyone is...
Alright, so I think I have already improved upon it, but I'm still not quite there.
Added fading radii
But I still get some funky corners on the backside.
I am creating a custom forming tool.
Here is the result.
It sortof works, but not quite.
Is this something that I need to fix in the forming tool, or how I am applying it?
Getting closer. Still not quite there yet.
I have a piece of foam that is shown in its applied position and its flat pattern position.
I saved a copy of the contoured part and made it flat, and named it ST-001350-FLAT.CATshape
In the assembly I used manage representations to associate the...
