I have PLC and MCC panels 200 meters away from the process area/ hazardous area. Some of instrumentation on machine is stating intrinsically safe. Do I need to have intrinsically safe terminals at PLC terminals and what about motors on MCCP? Thank you.

If the process area it is an open site and your panels are also in open air it is not a hazardous area for this equipment. The hazardous area border if it is enclosed it is 5 m more or less [in outgoing conduits].
