i have to take 33 kV lines to different places for industry requiring 5 (nos) *30 = 150 MVA. i am concerned about the type of conductor to use.
i have read that we can use upto 165 mva in 33 kv. but dog conductor only has 324 amps. as line current.

In a 11 KV O/H distribution line about 1.7 KM (only) and each individual poles are earthed with Earth spikes ( Earth resistance of each location is less than 5 Ohm).
But Inspector is insisting us to provide continious earthing for the said O/H line as per IE rules. I could not traced the same...

A literature reads,
"The oil collection pit thus formed shall have a void volume equal to 200% volume for 220
kV & above and 130% for 132 kV & below of total oil in the Transformer /Reactor."
Does this mean that the pit should hold twice the volume of oil of single transformer...

I want to replace Bison ACSR conductor with ACCR (Aluminium conductor composite reinforced) so that the conductor current rating is doubled. But I am unsure about its other aspects like wind and ice loading. I hope that sb has answer for this.
