I was told there would be a fix for this in 9.0.1, which should come out at the beginning of 2014.

Another way is go to your Customer Defaults in NX (File --> Utilities --> Customer Defaults), and under "Gateway" click on "User Interface" and scroll down until you see "Welcome Page Duration" and you can change it from 30 to 0 or 1 and then it will go away.

Your best bet would be to export from Catia as a step or iges file and then import that file type in NX.
I know there are a variety of different Catia to NX translators that can bring different amounts of information over to NX but they vary in cost and some are very expensive.

Doesn't look legitimate to me, sorry. Their support email is a gmail email as well, which raises some red flags to me.
To be safe, I would buy directly from Autodesk, or from a certified Autodesk reseller which you can find a list of on their website.

The only simulation tutorial built in to ST5 is for stress analysis, so you could learn from there and try to apply some of the same knowledge to heat transfer, or you can use the help tab or YouTube would be your best bet.
