i want to make hydrophilic material from nr or epdm or chloroprene.
i am trying to find supplier who give me fine particles of powder(used in baby diper).
i tried mix big particles of that powder but it didn't work.
hydrophilic cure rubber ,as soon as you put in water it will start swell...

by reducing hardness you will get higher co.of friction.
you can use graphite powder that give you low co.of friction.
or you can use Teflon powder to reduce value of friction.
also you can reduce filler to lower compound hardness and use graphite power or Teflon powder.

Those Scratched or pricked on rubber surface is "part after used in application or after molding?".
if it is after molding process then coating solution not work on surface.
if it is after application life then you can grind little bit surface (for roughness) then apply coating and the cure...
