But now another question:
with WF4 (the version I can use at now)I can calulate "Large deformations" for plastic materials (an example also in the PTC web-site) but only for 1 component. So, I cannot use large diplacement for an assembly. Is this correct?
Look at the picture attached:
on the...
Hi MarkCopland,
I found something inetresting.
Have a look to this link:

I think you will have more help after posting a picture.
It's never simple to imagine the situation without seeing what and where are geometry, constranits, loads..
Peter,
thank you very much for your help.
With infinite friction look like works well.
I'll try to do some tests for calibrating my model and for knowing slippage indicator.
Best regard.
Pietro
Hello Peter,
yes, there are constraints on both components in all direction in the upper part. This because the 2 components are fixed inside an other assembly (that I have suppressed for the analysis).
How can I fill the "Coefficient of Friction for Slippage Indicators"? Do you think I have...
... have a look also for the contact pressure in both case.
Also here we have a difference.

Ok, so now the question:
as u can see in the attached example I have two plastic components that are in interference in a drawing condition (when they are assembled in ProE of course).
In reality the 2 components are in contact, and the orange one is able to slide along the green one (but...
Sorry, now I have undestand your question.
I don't know if you can change them. I haven't find any option that allow you to modify number of significant figures.
Bye
In the "Result Window Definition" under "display Options" tab, you can choose how many level the legend has to have.
For default they are 9, but you can choose 15 levels.
You can choose number of levels also in Format > legend: in the right you have the same controller for the number of levels.
I'm usig Pro Mechanica integrated in ProE WF2 and i'm simulating a deformation of one component. But the problem is that this component has a flange that under the force has to come in contact with itself. I'm tring to use contact command, but the flange penetrate the upper part of the...
