Hello Jon, Appreciate your reply. Yes its not possible to split the quantity of item in NX. But only by putting a note beside balloon. which I ended up with. I feel like NX is just amateur in case of Drafting. I wish I could go back to Creo/Solidworks.

Hi there, How can we show balloons with split quantity of an item in an assembly drawing. for eg. I have an item with 10 quantity. I want to show that item balloon with 2,3 & 5 quantity each in different assembly views. Like we do in Pro-e/Creo. I am using NX 9 Thanks.

yeah it worked. Thanks @mhugo. Now I can directly add the part views by selecting that part from the part drop down list while adding base view.

the same thing we can do in Creo very easily, by adding model of part in assembly drawing, and detail them by placing both form and flat views. After using Solidworks and Creo I miss lot of things in UG :(

I think there is no such option available in UG till now. or I am not aware of such thing can be possible, coz I have just started using NX 3 months ago. ;)

you need to suppress that constraint using Arrangement specific command. Right click the constraint and Select "Arrangement Specific"

thank you Cowski. it worked. and I found another shortcut to do it. click and drag the note over the balloon you want to attach, it will create a dotted rectangular boundary, release the click. TADA. :)

@gbangs oh yes,I have created them, and They are all checked in, and nothing is checked out to anyone. when we set up TC in test mode all this was working good.
