    Halo ewrebody, Does anybody knows how to simulate connections betwen aluminium profile and alu plate in impcat loading (in pam-crash or ls-dyna)? Rigid connection isnt strong enough. Thanx for all tips

    hi ABAQUS explicit or implicit, try to apply a force instead of velocity. It looks you have to allowed one one direction for motion, becose it is overcontrained, try to do that in step2. Check your model. thax for reply. bye

    Helo Evan In LS-Dyna is still alchemy, I recomended to you use a internal solid contact and sometimes help stiffer Young modul in material deffinition for crash parts as well. You ve got problem with contact stiffnes, it doesnt have to do with material stifness. Regards Lubos

    Hi sendy, Thats a point, with small difference, I would like to try, but I dont know if it possible make in FEM implicit/ABAQUS/ this kind of definition simulations. Two independet steps, lets say, in one simulation, exatly on static with variable force in each step. Any Idea?
