ok well straight or helix or multi-turn etc that doesn't factor into the spec.
1) How can the non-linearity always be positive? Shouldn't this spec be based on taking any 2 points in the range of the pot. If you plotted resistance vs. rotary position it should come out a linear plot and the...
I'm not sure if you understand. This isn't a sliding pot and I don't think the calibration would eliminate the tolerance on both ends of the pot. It certainly wouldn't eliminate the linearity. That is inherent with the pot design. The calibration method is not an electronic mapping. I set...
I'm having trouble finding the definition of the linearity tolerance and a resistance tolerance for a multi turn pot. Can anyone help me out.
We will be using this as a position feedback device and I would like to know if for example we had a 10k multi turn pot that has a linearity of .5% and...
Yeah I know about those features all great reasons, thanks. I'm teaching a SW class and I didn't realize they updated the cut extrude feature to have automate. I've been stressing hole wizard and I was going to show that the cut extrude didn't automate when we got to assemblies so now that it...
I have a SB 4000 serial working with SW 2007. I've had problems with the drivers before but now it is working fine. I'm using a serial to USB converter. not sure if that does the trick. version 5.09.0002 on the driver
A while back the advantage of hole wizard was that it worked with automatic mates for toolbox fasteners. Now if you bring in a toolbox fastener it will automate to both cut extrude and a hole wizard feature.
Any other reasons to use hole wizard over cut extrude besides the obvious that you can...
