If you open the *.cdb file in Ansys Classic you can write another *.cdb file using the cdwrite command. It should then be possible to open this *.cdb file in workbench.
You still have to define the Element Types in Hypermesh before.
Best,
Andi
Sorry, the problem description is in german:-)
It says something like this:
1. File: *.cdb
2. unprocessed command - CSYS,0
3. non blocked format on CDWR-command not supported. Data not processed.
4. converting stopped
any ideas?
Thanks!
Hi Ben,
thanks for your response! I already did this. But when I try to import the .cdb file into the FE Modeler then it says: "Probably no .cdb file"
I have attached a screenshot of the problem description. Do you have any idea...
Hey,
I have generated a net in HyperMesh and want to import it into Workbench Finite Element Modeler. I tried it unsing .cdb file, what didnt work.
I also tried to import it first into Ansys classic, but couldnt find a way to get the net into workbench either.
Is there any other way for that...
Hey,
hopefully somebody can help me with my problem. I have generated a net in Hypermesh and want to import it into Workbench12. I tried it using the .cdb file, what didnt work.
Is there any other way to import a net into Workbench?
Thanks,
