Buckling of thin silo during transportation.
In one of my project we are sending silo in horizontal condition. the thickness of silo is 6mm. ,dia. is 7mtr. and 16 mtr. length. The top portion is connected with roof and bottom portion is connected with cone. I am providing 4 saddles, 2 near top and bottom part and remaining 2 in center at...- 27516463

Dear Friends, Sorry for my insufficient information. I would like to know how to calculate Half bottom cylinder and flat plate. Can I use UG-27 Cylindrical shell formula for bottom half cylinder. and how to calculate flat plate? Please guide. Thanks,- 27516463
