    Aditives to avoid water frezzing.

Ethylene glycol is probably your best choice from terms of permanence, easy availability, and non-corrosivity. However corrosion inhibitors should be included -- similar to retail supplies of automobile antifreeze. Use of Ethylene glycol will require special provision for spill containment to...

    Pressure Drop in Condensers

As long as you provide sufficient cooling to absorb the latent heat and some small amount of subcooling of the steam condensate, all of the steam will naturally flow into the condenser from the evaporator. A shell and tube condenser should work fine for this purpose. Normally you would...

    toluene solubility in water

I know that toluene is only slightly soluble in water, but I want to know more quantitatively what the solubility is at the azeotropic temperature of 84.1 C. All of the data I have found is at a range of 25 to 30 C. Haven't been able to find solubility data at higher temperatures.

    toluene solubility in water

I need the solubility of toluene in water at the azeotrope temperature of about 84 C. Even better would be a source of vapor-liquid equilibria data for toluene and water. I have looked in the DECHEMA Liquid-Liquid and Vapor-Liquid data collections, and it is not there.
