From looking at your picture. It looks like you had a popup from that larger hole that caused the head to drag across the sheet making it lose it position. I have had this happen before on my Trumpf 2030 Lasers but never to where they did that much damage to the head. I do run at 550 in/min...
I have a 2030 it is a little tricky depending on where it is lost.
Try to move the frame that is out of position with the switch elements
Try doing a reboot on the machine.
that will usually let it find itself
I empty every day into a 55 gallon drum between my 4 machines and place the bag into our steel recycle bin. On the 4 Trumpf 2030 machines i have the bins are small, so daily is a must. I use a 3m half face mask
New beam trap has been installed getting 75% of my power back and no water leakage. However i keep getting a safety monitor error now, Replaced safety monitor that had the error and seems to have gotten worse. awaiting trumpf to respond to my call
Has anyone had this error type on their...
I had the same problem what I found with a Trumpf tech was that my beam trap has been leaking water and it got onto an internal mirror. They are making a new beam trap for my machine i will keep you informed
That is the first time i have heard a someone say the focus test is out of useless. I just spoke to a friend that has a 3030 machine he said try to lower your o2 to .5 bar and also to try narrower beam
What he said to do is set your zero with the caliper then run the focus test to see where...
Looking at your cut from the picture provided. it seems your alignment is off and the beam is shooting at an angle. IMO Possible when the auto las mirror was replaced it might not be seated correctly. I have never run into this much of a deviation before.
it also could be the thickness of the steel. i looked at my tech tables for aluminum and this is what i have, but i have never used them i gave you for mild steel.
this would be 14 gu al cutting with shop air
nozzle .200in
laser power 260w
gatting 200hz
speed 100in/min
gas 2.0bar
mine is a...
What thickness of steel are you using
what i have set on my 2k trumpf laser for etching is as follows
nozzle standoff .2000in.
laser power 160w
gating freq 1000hz
speed 150.0 in/min
gas pressure 2.0bar
i use this on thin 20 gauge steel
Just spoke to trumpf applications here. and they said what you might want to do a focus rest ti get it better in line. and the frequency will only change the pulse and will slow the speed down, but would not really fix the cut. you might want to change the speed (slower) and also your gas...
I run 4 Trumpf 2030 lasers, and the parameters should be sent to the machine if the programmer is using the Trumpf tops software.
If you modify the nozzle distance from the material you risk the chance of loosing the cut, where that will change the focal distance of the laser. I also program...
