today i cut 10mm steel (s355jr) the cut is good but after measuring the piece the top side is almost perfect, 60.00mm from drawing 59.98mm measured really good) but the bottom of the piece in smaller, ideal must be 60.00mm but measured is 59.66~59.75mm if you measuer in different point. how can i adjust this?

machine is a trumpf 3050 year 2004 with all mirrors and resonator new replaced 2 months ago and cutting conditions are standar trump (no value modified)

Looking at your cut from the picture provided. it seems your alignment is off and the beam is shooting at an angle. IMO Possible when the auto las mirror was replaced it might not be seated correctly. I have never run into this much of a deviation before.

Did it work correctly before?

Have you checked focus?

Of course I can. I can do anything. I can do absolutely anything. I'm an expert!

the machines it's buyed used but revised, mirror and source ar new, it run from october and we encountered many problems, most of them solved, this remain unsolved.
don't know if autolas mirror is ok.
there is no "before" :) or i don't know if the machine works correctly where it was first installed.

how to check focus?
if u refer to a program that cut a "comb" in aisi 1mm were check the gap and adjust the "mechanical zero" , the 7.5" head is out of focus according to the test but trumpf technician say "the test is useless" set the zero with caliper following the trumpf table" and give me the measure to set the mechanical focus from the hole on the top at the side of the "laser hole"

That is the first time i have heard a someone say the focus test is out of useless. I just spoke to a friend that has a 3030 machine he said try to lower your o2 to .5 bar and also to try narrower beam

What he said to do is set your zero with the caliper then run the focus test to see where the lens is to set the optical focus is. and to use a trumpf lens to set it up. your lens might be off

Thanks. Tomorrow i re-run the test and set it. Try with low gas pressure and small beam. Thanks to all for answer

it seems that your best line is that -3.2 you will have to focus the head to that point then your cuts should be better.

It looks like your beam alignment is off causing astigmatism throught your cutting lens.

Monday i'll try everything.
By enlarging beam diameter i have to lower the Speed?

ok, tryed to adjust focus mechanically and the problem is gone, now i have 0.12-0.08mm of difference between top and bottom.
tryed to enlarge beam to 18mm (13 original) and pieces will be welded on bottom side.

thanks to all
