That is exactly what I am saying. The two short side plates are of unequal thickness and the two long side plates are of equal thickness. Just the opposite of sketch 13-2(a)(2). How do I solve for bending stresses?
For sketch 13-2(a)(2) in Appendix 13, if H is larger than h, are the equations for calculating the corner and mid-point bending stresses still vslid? If not, is there a valid modification that can be made to the equations?
Does anyone have an acceptable nozzle reinforcement calculation method for Appendix 13 box headers, where the nozzle inside diameter exceeds one-half of the header inside width?
