When I "Edit text in window" the " are there.
Another thing that may be worth noting is that the " @6" part is treated like a single unit. So I can't, say, select the last " without select the whole " @6" string.
How would I go about replacing my gtol.sym file?

I do have that option turned on. The only case where they're disappearing is when I have the double prime mark bracketing the "@" symbol.
For example:
Something" @ Something" ==> Something @ Something
But this would work fine:
Something" @ Something ==> Something" @ Something (no...

I'm trying to create the following note in my solidworks drawing:
BOLT <MOD-DIAM>1/2" @ 6" c/c
When I type this in and create the note, the output is:
BOLT <MOD-DIAM>1/2 @ 6 c/c
Why is solidworks removing the apostrophes when it displays the note?
