Material of the HP Steam Pipeline is 13CrMo44 and pipe OD is 219.8mm.
As END CAP of this material (13CrMo44) is locally not available, so the Contractor is offering an equivalent material...

Yes that is valid point that such GRP wrapping or replacement with PVC pipe may shift the corrosion in other connected equipment like condenser, ejector.
PVC or GRP wrapping has chlorine in them?

Actually we want to isolate many piplines of various sizes ranging from NB 80 to NB 1400,these lines are between boilers and distillers, distillers were decommissioned so isolation was required on boilers side live lines.
