Hello Everyone,
I am trying to apply Perfectly Matched layers (PML) at the top and bottom to the simple rectangle specimen. I am using the Direct steady-state dynamics step for this simulation. I am able to run the input file without any error but when I am looking at the results it is showing...
Hello everyone,
I am running the simulation in Abaqus/Explicit of a spherical cell passing through the rectangular channel. For cell properties, I am using the Incompressible neo hokie hyperelastic model with C01 of 0.00015(E=0.9KPa) and density of 10^-9 tonne/mm^3(1000 kg/m^3) and the...
Sorry FEA way,
Did you change anything in that input file before running the new file because I downloaded the same file and run that in my system still, it is giving the same error?
Here I am attaching the image file of error I am getting when I run the new input file.
Thanks...
Thanks, FEA way for the reply,
I tried that option but again it is showing the same error "Node set assembly_dummy_n has not been defined". Here I am attaching that input file for reference.
Thanks...
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to apply the periodic boundary condition for a 2D model in Abaqus by creating the dummy node and specifying the boundary condition on the dummy node but while I am doing that I am getting an error "Node set assembly_set-dummy_n has not been defined". I tried so many...
Hello,
For the above problem, I am interested in solving by applying the pressure load on the backside of the spherical cell. I am planning to solve using VDLOAD user Subroutine. Can anyone help me with the easiest way of doing using VDLAOD?
Thanks
Actually, I am not applying the pressure load as the micropipette aspiration. It is slightly different like what I mentioned above. I am planning to do this using the user subroutine. I am new to subroutines can you please help how to start.
sorry, Mustaine3 I am new to this foram. so I thought...
Thanks for your answer,
Yes, it is great if you could tell me how to apply the load without using the fluid in Abaqus Explicit, as shown in the above figure.
Thanks for the answer,
I saw both the articles which you attached I found that in both the models they are using fluid to load the cell. I am doing 3D modeling. In which I am using hyperelastic incompressible solid. I don't want to use the fluid to load the cell because it will further...
I am trying to simulate a simple model in Abaqus- an elastic spherical shell being sucked into a rigid tube. The diameter to the sphere is greater than that of the tube and I want to study the large deformation of the shell into the tube.
I am unable to define a load to simulate the suction...
