Pressure vessel is designed at 900# and -46c/75c design temp @97 bar pressure.Shell material is 316L and 36mm thk.Calculated MDMT is -29c by PV ELITE softwear.No heat treatment applied on the material and as per ASME SECTION VIII DIV-2 there is no impact testing requirement.

If the pipe material is API 5LX52, X65 and sizes are ranging 48" to 90" and thickness 25 to 32mm.

In PV ELITE "BASE RING DESIGN DATA" there is an option "USE AISI DESIGN METHOD".If i use this option with 46%(%applied to bolt area * bolt stress)then i got the reasonable gusset plate and top/bottom ring thickness of the 900# vessel.
Please advise the AISI DESIGN METHOD critaria.
