    AISI Design Method

    In PV ELITE "BASE RING DESIGN DATA" there is an option "USE AISI DESIGN METHOD".If i use this option with 46%(%applied to bolt area * bolt stress)then i got the reasonable gusset plate and top/bottom ring thickness of the 900# vessel. Please advise the AISI DESIGN METHOD critaria. Regards.
