    Hi All, I am running a simulation of ductile damage of a beam under flexure. I see that the damage criterion is achieved however, the Job fails after/around the damage initiation! It gives convergence error! How can I resolve that! Any suggestion is highly appreciated!!! Regards,

    Thanks for reply. The link was working for me! By damage I mean, the ductile damage model that is available in Abaqus. I am performing a simulation of beam bending and want to observe damage (reduction in load bearing capacity) in the beam after certain deformation.

    I do not know about the GTN parameter! In Abaqus Explicit there are stuffs like loading rate (given by Amplitude) and time step. Checking them may be helpful. is the error about convergence!
