    thx for your reply the maximum temperature for c-2000 is 800 F, that one i know. what i have here is a small vessel fabricated in FEB 2004 per code case 2240-1. with a U- stamp and 932 DEG F design temperature. 1- is that possible?? 2- is there a way to get a copy of that code case??

    you are right but the maximum temperature listed in ASME Sec. II for this material C-2000 is 1400 DEG F.
