Hi All,
I am trying to do a proper ellipse callout using NX11 Drafting as shown...I used the ellipse feature in the sketch, but the ellipse callout is tricky in the drafting.
So I am wondering how to do a radius callout that also shows its center.
Thank you for all your help.
Hi John,
Yes, I selected the inner surface as the face for placing holes. It is because the countersunk has to start from the inside.
In fact, I just solve this problem by enabling the "Extend Start" from the hole feature setting.
Thanks anyways.
Hi all,
I have been trying to place simple/countersunk holes on the inner surface of a cylinder. I projected the point from the outside surface and the axis is "normal to face". This approach works in many previous cases but fails this time. I kept getting "the tool and target do not form a...
Hi John,
I believe I used wrong Alignment options in Through Curve feature. I used "parameter" option and the result has self-intersect error. If I switch to "By point" option, the result is perfect solid with no error.
Again, thank you for your help.
Hi All,
I want to thank you for all your reply. It helps me a lot learning NX.
I have examined my curves and solid bodies built by two different features (Through Cruve/Swept)
The curves has no self-intersect error, but both two solid bodies has this issue.
I will see where I did wrong...
Hi All,
I am a graduate research assistant at Virginia Tech with 2 year NX experience. I have built a wind blade using swept and then sew the surface with bounded planes to create a solid body.
When I tried to unite the hub and the blade, a error message "Through face does not intersect...
