    I have two parts of a system, separated by a long cable. The remote end is both weight and size sensitive. To deliver 60 Hz power would require far too large and heavy a transformer at the remote. The 1kHz power allows for much smaller and lighter power components at the remote end.

    I need to design or find a source for a small power generator, 1KW, 220 VAC, 1000Hz. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated regarding how to design/find source for this. The generator will be run from a small gas powered engine.
