Hello,
I need help to design legs for supporting a skid packaged equipment ( pump + heat exchanger +piping all mounted as skid).
My idea is to calculate the legs as for a vessel, but I am not sure for the bearing condition at the top of the leg.
someone has an idea or calculation method? Thank you
Hello,
I need help to design legs( short) for supporting a skid (pum + vessel+ piping mounted on a 1/4'' thk plate) , I want to use calculation formula as for a vessel to have the legs dimensions but my problem is how the design of the bearing conditions at the top of the leg (the contact of...
Yes , I am designing a shell for a plate&shell heat exchanger (heater).
I Know TEMA , and I saw calculation for shell entrance , but I did not use it.
My impingement plate is an insert that I have to attaché to steam nozzle entrance , ( one ring superposed and attached by gussets to a solid...
hello,
I need help to design impingement plate for steam inlet nozzles ( 10"NPS , 6"NPS & 3"NPS). my impingement plates are inside of the nozzles. is there calculation to do for flow to avoid bottleneck problem.
My plates are different than that usually used for tubular heat exchangers. Thanks
Thank you,
per QW-433, it said welder qualified with F6 he is qualified for All F6 , this includes F6 with and without backing because the QW-433 shows F-number and backing condition ( with or without)
hi,
QW-433 Alternative F-numbers for welder performance qualification.
when qualified with F6, is qualified for all F6 ( per QW-433) means qualified for with and without backing?
thanks.
hi ,
is the back welding ( backgouging + welding the back side) for a single groove weld considered as a backing?
