    I inherited some R14 drawings. When I modifiy the drawing and add dimensions, the dimensions explode. That is, the dimension is no longer a dimension object.     What are you looking for? Remember that a slitter is a rolling shear with a curved rake. If you don't get info from someone with closer experience, I may have notes in some of my old references.

    If your looking into steels, try a compendium book such as ASM's steels of the world. It lists steels in order of carbon content. If you find an ISO spec there should be an ASTM designation very close to it. I have found that some steels have no corresponding matches.
