RCC Hydration Heat - Hadlock Dam Failure

You have to go back to the original question. It had to do with the way RCC would react exposed to very cold temperature from 3 sides of the structure for an extended time. They mixed it and spread it out and compacted it in cold weather. Typically when you do that you heat the components and...

RCC Hydration Heat - Hadlock Dam Failure

In reference to the Hadlock Dam Failure (Northern NY) they poured RCC until January 17th. The slab was approx 3- 4 feet Thick x 40 feet across the dam and 125 feet long. A picture taken on January 27th showed part of the dam bare and about 70% having 1-3" of snow on it. There was no additional...

Dam Failure in Upstate New York

Based on what I observed and observations of those who whitnessed it the whirlpool formed some 50 feet from the front of the dam. If you take that elevation at that point it would be at the juncture from the base of the old dam to the new fill. Having watched them construct it they did not...

Dam Failure in Upstate New York

Actually there were two failure points. The one that actually failed on the west end of the dam and the one that was about to fail east of the spillway. We were lucky that the west end failed first since that area was not as deep as the east side. Also the roller compacted concrete structure...

    2003 MS Server Permissions

We are printing PDF drawings to a 2003 MS server through an API call. At times we create new sub-folders and other times we put the PDFs in exixting folders. Our server is set up to inherate the permissions of the main folder in which the PDF/folder are created. At times, a folder that has been...

    Bluebeam/Solidworks Crashing

Roller1, I don't know if they have fixed it or not. We print using an API call rather than thru Bluebeam. I got around the problem by loading bluebeam - making the PDF - and then unload Bluebeam all within the api call. We have an intranet image system and we have to pass custom property info...

    Bluebeam/Solidworks Crashing

This wasn't off the cuff "Helpfull Hint". Our VAR was aware of the problem for 6 Months. We had this problem on Two different work staions. We replaced all the key components in one work station. We bought a new lower level PC for another application and tried it and it also crashed. We finally...

    Bluebeam/Solidworks Crashing

FYI We are running SW 2004 and full blown Bluebeam. If we change a configuration, saved, and closed a file in SW we would crash 100% of the time. When we turned off Bluebeam in the addin menu the problem went away.
