Hi all
am after an equivalent for the Swedish steel grade SIS 1430.
I think its an old designation as the boiler it is from is about 30-35yrs old.
any advice would be greatly appreciated
cheers

if the water is stagnant, we use a freezer unit to freezer the water further up the line (obviously it has to be a fair distance from the area to weld). That way you can work on a live water line. Happens quite a lot at sea on grey water / sewage lines.
Good morning all
I am looking for a manufacturer of welding consumables that would be a good alternative to the ESAB products in the UK. The reason for this is that ESAB have just announced a price increase of 9% and the closure of the distribution centres that we use meaning we would have to...
they are basically looking for a high strength structural steel, so it's astm a440.
cant figure out for the life of me where they came up with LRC tho lol
Thanks for having a go, but I am not convinced that LRC1 is actually a material grade. Knowing my boss, I think its more likely to be a typing error so i've told him to forget it and find an alternative. I am convinced that he wants astm a440.
thanks again, but the mods should probably close...
Good day all
