LRC1 grade a440

Good day all

apologies if this is in the wrong place but I am new here.

I am after some information a material grade.

have used several search engines but they come up with nothing.

The material in question LRC1 PA440 forged tube.

any info on this material any1 can give me would be greatly appreciated.

That is all the info that i have been given by my boss. he wants to know the chemical composition

A shot in the dark here using your post title, LRC1 grade a440 , there was an ASTM A 440 standard specification, "Specification for High-Strength Structural Tube". Unfortunately, this specification was withdrawn in 1979 and I don’t have a copy.
 
Thanks for having a go, but I am not convinced that LRC1 is actually a material grade. Knowing my boss, I think its more likely to be a typing error so i've told him to forget it and find an alternative. I am convinced that he wants astm a440.

I'd like it if you really found what the material was and reported on this thread.
 
they are basically looking for a high strength structural steel, so it's astm a440.

cant figure out for the life of me where they came up with LRC tho lol
