    Many Failures In Manufacturing

unclesyd I already have problems identified but I need solutions to them. For each of them I need few (it can be up to four) solutions - what should be done so this failure won't occur again. So I need preventive and not corrective solution. If I had just one failure and needed solution, I...

    Many Failures In Manufacturing

MintJulep there is no forum on this site listed in menu, no members with contacts listed also. Any other ideas? I have contacted countless of cold heading and thread rolling companies but no respond. Been working on this for months.

    Many Failures In Manufacturing

Dear everyone, Question. I have opened some topic about bolts/screws (cold heading and thread rolling only) manufacturing already but this is a bit different question. I noticed that on this forum isn't allowed to say contact details (messengers, e-mails,..) but could anyone please point me to...

    Tempering + quenching

If I use the term "quench hardening", can this be also named as "austempering"? Of course quench hardening / quenching and tempering / austempering (?) is different process compering to tempering.

    Tempering + quenching

Hola If I was native English speaker, I for sure wouldn't need to open this topic. Actually I have simple question. I search for engineering term. The one that is meant as process of thermal/heat treatment and according to google, which I believe is for sure correct, the description of this...

    Thread rolling DIES

For unknown reasons, I am a bit sceptical if the following numbers are approximately correct and I would like to ask if anyone can take a look at them and let me know if they are approximately correct or not. Also I have some questions near few numbers for production rates: Movements of...

    Thread rolling DIES

Thank you TVP. Are there any suggested toughness for both materials, workpiece's (bolt) and die's, too? Sure there is two different types of toughness but since we are talking about thread rolling dies, its probably fracturing toughness and not "punching" toughness, right?

    Thread rolling DIES

Hi I have a general, theoretical, questions for thread rolling dies. Only thread rolling, NO cutting. I would like to know what is, from theory point of view, hardness of material (steel) of dies for thread rolling? I have found information that hardness should be maximum 32 HRC but this data...
