Have you tried WinOls? It has a trial version that works well for finding the maps, anyhow you need to distinguish the ignition and iinjection maps yourself. They are usually 12 X 12 tables that are located well at the bottom of Code. 12 X 12 is not a fixed thing and I'm not sure if there is any...
Try these two sites. You might catch some hints. I got it from this forum:

Hi nicoliT
Could you please share with us if you have found any answer to your question? I'd like to know about it.
Thanks

Hi,
If there was anything than VAG, I would have probably said : NO, but for VAG there might be. VAG protocols are like LINUX (more available and published) comparing to other cars that could be like windows ;)
I would like to know if you have found any. Please update us as well if you find...
Hi,
If you have not been into assembly and HEX programming sort of thing, you might find it difficult, however WinOls software can help u a lot. But locating the maps is a bit tricky in a 512K or 1MB Hex code. More importantly, changing them needs a deep understanding of how things work and how...
Just to correct my Self in previous Post: "You usually can NOT have your hands....."on the first line

Are you making a new car, what engine does it have? Based on your engine, you need to use a specific ECU and that forces some specific sensors and so on. Unless, you wanna go for a Stand Alone ECU (one like Autronic) and then I'm not sure even there you'll have MUX compatibility.
Anyhow...
Hi,
With a generic scantool you usually can have your hands on the codes inside the flash of ECU. You need some more advanced devices. However, if you have those codes, you can project them on WinOls, which is the best freeware option I saw on the market. Hexeditor.exe is also of some minor help...
Jarcuri,
As a matter of fact I got it, but don't remember the brand. We looked in Chinese custom made LCDs and found a company who proposed a good deal. If I remember correctly it was Xiamen Ocular (Spellin????)
They charged almost 4000 USD for tooling and then we went on mass production...
Dear Pat,
I got your point very well. As I said at the to p of this topic, I run an engine with 10.5 compression ratio and 89 to 91 Octane. The engine is equiped with knock sensor and I strongly believe that increasing knock resistance will improve the ^performance in this case.
Anyhow, I can...
Thanks Pat,
I went through the topics. As you suggested, most of the effect of WI is the story happening INSIDE THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER, where it helps to have more compression (or more advance) due to less knock.
There were also some suggestions to mix water with Methanol or Ethanol and then...
Hi,
Could anybody let me know if water injection can help to reduce the intake air temperature significantly in NA engines? I heard that it is mostly used in Turbocharged engines.
And if it is useful Practically, is there any way to make a DIY version on a low budget?
Engine: 1.6L, 112 BhP...
Dear all,
I'd appreciate your help if you can point me to the right direction on how to write programs on PDAs running PocketPC 2002 or 2003 operating system. I need to interface with serial or USB port as well in my programs. I've heared about .NET compact Framework and so, but don't kow how...
Thanks jmw; I already decided to start my own business as I have enough support and money to do that in my country. As TheThich mentioned in the other topic, you cannot get rich if you work for somebody else. I don't know how far this goes, but it sounds true to me.
IRStuff: It's supposed to...
Thanks all for your replies.
IRStuff: In the Uk, taking work permit for somebody with MSc qualification ( and especially with electronics and IT background)is a matter of few days time and a letter to the Home Office. The company can do it with a very low charge and usually there is not a big...
Actually it helped a lot. I heared from two companies for interview after those changes. I didn't keep on asking them after their contact as I had decided to go back to my country and do my own business. Just for your interest, I applied for three engineering jobs in the UK and I said that I had...
Zeit,
That's true and a good point I didn't think of. The temp range is -113 to 7 oC, but because the atmosphere is very very thin ( the pressure is 6.9 to 9 mbar) so the barrier conductivity falls very low that may lead to heat accumulation (?).
Heat damping is proportional to temp difference...
Just was curious, with a very thin atmosphere in Mars (or somewhere in the space with almost nothing like vaccum)how it is possible to take the heat from electronic parts of a device like Mars rover and damp it out? Imagine the worst case that there is no air to conduct the heat, and you know...
Dear all,
I'm an electronic engineer but never done PROTEL seriously before!! I'd like to design a circuit that will sit on a board with an odd shape, having holes and curves everywhere. Can I import the board shape from Autocad and design my PCB there? I usually prefered to design the small...
