    Displacement Sensor

We only need to get the small displacements of columns generated by an equipment which is supported by them. It is possible to get displacements from a vibration sensor ? Thanks !

    Displacement Sensor

Forgot to tell that, the trouble with the accelerometer is that I was not able to integrate the values in order to obtain velocity and displacement. Not to mention that the vertical motion has being influenced by gravity and we must apply filters. We obtained very strange results for sure.

    Displacement Sensor

But I'm looking for displacements, the strain gage will give me strains only, right?. I though in using an accelerometer, since they do not need a reference frame. This for example http://www.geogage.com/product/vw_displacement_sensor.html will need a reference frame. The vecinity of...

    Displacement Sensor

I understand that inductive sensors have a lack of accuracy. Is there any kind of seismograph sensor? If by posting here a sensor model is break the forum rule, please send me a PM. I will appreciate. Thanks for your reply!

    Displacement Sensor

Hopefully micrometers for magnitude and accuracy on the same value order. Top price range usd$500-800.

    Displacement Sensor

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a sensor to obtain small motions. These sensors will be installed on columns, for hence, any sensor which needs a reference state is off the table. The main idea is to catch the displacements generated by a rotatory equipment which is supported by these columns...
