If you have refered to the data I have typed above then as the reading in Gauge decreses with that boiling point decreases, then why should I install heavy Vacuum Pump and achieve maximum vacuum achiievable.
At 680 mmHg boiling is at 50-55 oC

At my location ATM pressure is 727 mmHg. when...

Your result shows lower Hvap value than at ATM pressure. whereas it should increse.
My calculation results 125.82 cal/gm at 680 mmHg than 124.3 cal/gm at ATM.
Plz validate.

I wanted to know the latent heat of vaporization of acetone at 680mmHg for my condenser design, but could not find it. as latent heat decreases with increase in pressure and vice versa.
would somebody refer to some source or provide related equation.

in our solvent rcovery process intailly we have only one vacuum tray drier for what condenser was designed , now second smaller dryer is installed. which resulted in more vapor flow and loss of acetone that jumped condenser. now rather that manufacturing and designing new condenser...
in industries that have to deal with highly flammable liquids first and most necesssry task is to to eliminate the ignition source. proper earthing for reducing static charge risk. and the vent of tank can have condenser with appropiate utility running to keep vapor below LEL.
we also use liquid nitrogen in our process to have -92 deg C temp. and nitrogen is vented in atmosphere. particularly for we don't have any application for it. but i hope u can repressurize it and reuse it.
