    Bridge Catwalk

    Thanks Paul. I saw the ASCE/IBC requirements. Usually, AASHTO requirements are more rigid. But 90 PSF seems to be a bit high for use for a inspection catwalk. If I cannot find a correct AASHTO reference, I guess I will be designing it for 90 PSF.

    It is a county bridge. They do not have the data. I checked on the FEMA site as gbam had suggested and found that a study for the exact location that I am looking for is available. I will follow froude's suggestion and see if I can get a copy of the FIS Data. Thanks everyone.

    May be you want to check the OFFSET command in Staad. This allows you to move the axis of the connected members. If yo are modeling a strip of the wall, this may be the most effective way.
