    NX/Teamcenter Icons

Does anyone know of a place where I can get the icons for UGMASTER, UGPART and UGALTREP? I can't seem to find them anywhere I look. Maybe there is a whole repository out there of the icons for NX Integration?

User Interface Styler file is not found

I am trying to use only the Inquire program from the GMPDL, without having to install the entire GMPDL. I can get it to come up, but after I choose, say, "List Objects by Type" I get a note saying "The User Interface Styler file is not found." Through our TC environment it works fine, but...

Save Assembly In Different Directory script help

This script takes the work part (assembly) and creates a new sub-directory under it called NewDirectory, and saves all the parts and assemblies to this one file. Would anyone be able to modify this so instead of it creating a sub-directory called NewDirectory, it would instead create a new...

I am currently using NX7.5 but going to NX9 soon.

Journal to replace file attribute titles

Any way with a Journal to read an attribute, create a new one with the same value but different title, then remove the old title and it's value and be able to repeat that if necessary on multiple attributes?

Journal to replace file attribute titles

Is there a way to use a VB journal to replace attribute titles? I have a journal already that will go through a directory of files and add, delete, etc. to file attributes, but if I need to change the titles of one or more of the attributes, I don't have a way to do this. Does anyone have a...

    Electrical Routing Configuration

Does anyone know where I can find literature or have any kind of step-by-step on what I need and how to get started to setup Electrical Routing? I am having a hard time finding anything on the GTAC solutions site and the documentation to me is not clear at all on how to get started. I am...

Thank you all, I will definitely check into some of those ideas. If I find a way, I will post back with an answer.

Model Check from the command line

Is there a way to run Model Check from a command line? I see at the end of the modelcheck.bat file there is a line: "%prodir%\%MC%\obj\modelcheck.exe" %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 Is there any way to plug in the information that you need to just be able to double-click on the modelcheck.bat file (or a...

All files getting saved instead of only changed files

Unfortunately, I do not have a config.sup file anywhere within my install of Creo. And we do not have any kind of setup that governs our settings for the few users that we do have on Creo.

All files getting saved instead of only changed files

Sadly, I have no idea what config.sup is. I did a search for that in my startup folder and my install folder with no luck. Do you have any extra information you can provide regarding that? Perhaps where that file would be or if I need to make it myself, where it should go and what it should...

All files getting saved instead of only changed files

Yes, I converted from NX 7.5 to Creo 2 directly and am using the same Creo 2 version to build the assemblies. Also, I have not created any relationships between any parts and assemblies.

All files getting saved instead of only changed files

Hello, After converting an assembly from NX into Creo, I am keeping that assembly in its own folder structure. When I am ready, I copy the files from the folder to a single directory where all my files will end up. Then when I create a new assembly file in with the single directory of parts...

    Batch to Change Attributes

Does anyone have a journal that you can run as a batch on a folder of files that you can put several different attribute titles into and have it either change the titles and/or have it copy the value from that title and add a new attribute title with the pasted value? In the end, I am looking...

Automate PDF Export and Sort by numbers

cowski, This works amazingly, thank you! It does say many times "part open error: File already exists", which I'm not sure why, but it is still doing everything I hoped. I can't thank you enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you! [bigsmile]

Automate PDF Export and Sort by numbers

I seem to get a lot of "Part Scan Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." errors, then it stops after that.

Automate PDF Export and Sort by numbers

cowski, This works great, thank you! Can I ask one last favor though? I have a bit of code I'd like to incorporate into this which makes it so it doesn't process it and make a pdf file if the sheet is empty. I know that I am probably pushing it, but I could I ask you to incorporate such a...

Automate PDF Export and Sort by numbers

cowski, I hate to ask, but for the script that you made for me, is there a way that it can also be made to run externally from the NX command prompt on a directory of parts, where it would open and cycle through each .prt file in a directory, and do the same exporting that you have set up in...

Toolbar during startup on borderbar in NX9+

In pre NX9, I was able to create a .tbr file, use DOCK LEFT and add it to the startup folder, and when I would start NX it would automatically turn on the toolbar and dock it to the left side of the screen. In NX 9 or higher, is there a way to do the same thing? I have tried creating it as a...
