    Fuel Tank Leak Testing

Check with Cincinnati Test in Cincinnati Ohio. They do this service for you. They also make some unique fittings for quick connect/disconnect of sealing the tanks for leak testing.

    BSPP to NPT plastic fittings

No one has what I need in any type of plastic. I'm having them made by a local shop, a 2" male BSPP thread on one side with a o-ring groove and boss, and 1" male NPT on the other side with a 3/4" hole through the entire piece. Thanks for all the suggestions.

    BSPP to NPT plastic fittings

My bad on "plastic" ... haha! The rest of it is polypropylene. It doesn't matter to much as long as it's able to withstand urenthane chemicals ( polyol and isocyanate ). Nylon, Delryn, whatever is cheapest and has no issues with those two families of chemicals.

    BSPP to NPT plastic fittings

Thanks, Pat. That's what I figured it would come to. I have a small machine shop helping me out. They do this kind of work in the specialty valve market. I can find a 2" BSP male, but not one in plastic, and they start around 65 bucks each. I think what will work best is a 2.5" piece of...

    BSPP to NPT plastic fittings

Looking for a way to go from a 2" female BSPP ( G ) thread to a male 1" NPT thread. Ideally, it would be a combo reducing/thread type. The ideal fitting would be 2" Male BSP to 1" Male NPT. Any suggestions on where to find this? I've tried all of the usual sources ( Grainger, Cole Parmer...

    Cleaning Paint Jigs

Manfreds, if you need any information on dry ice blasting, let me know. I think it would work very well for your application. If you get on youtube and search for some of the terms, you will see quite a few demo videos. There are several manufacturers of machines to do this... all very...

Cryogenic cleaning of motors & generators

There are several manufacturers of dry ice equipment. Shop around and do some price checking. It's not rocket science... only one or two moving parts on a machine. Some of them have gimmicky nozzles and make claims about being able to adjust CFM on the fly, etc., which is just a marketing...

    In process particle size inspection

That's not the case at all. It's a tube leading to the injectors on a diesel engine. So far I think I found the correct technology, laser diffraction, but I have not found the equipment that will handle the range of flow and minute amount of particles that are to be sensed in the stream...

    In process particle size inspection

I'll check it out. Thanks. I'm looking for particles in fluid, not a gas, but maybe the same principles apply.

    In process particle size inspection

Some are, some aren't. Could be tooling, could be cast iron, could be aluminum.

    In process particle size inspection

Tacky double post. Process needs to be repeatable every 90 seconds. This is 100% inspection, as it's a critical part of the fuel delivery system. Real time is needed.

    In process particle size inspection

For clarification, it would require 100 sensors, my bad. 60ml x 100 = 6,000 ml - 6 l. Damn. And I'm not looking to clean the water. I'm looking to inspect what's IN the water. This is a final rinse on the part prior to packaging. The part is pressure tested, and any burrs or shavings that...

    In process particle size inspection

Any suggestions or ideas on a sensing device that can detect particle size within a stream of DI water? Flow rate is 6 l/min, ambient temperature, 3/8" ID tube. Looking for a way to detect any type of contamination in the stream ( rinse water after pressure testing ) and have specifications...
