My job doesn´t involve scripting, I just like to learn it whenever I can so that I can speed up my catia work.
I will post the code I have and maybe you can make it more abstract, because got it fomr macro recording.

Ok If I understood correctly from that strange image, the problem is that you have to pick face to face (not edge).
If you pick the circle edge, catia will assume the center and will be looking for another center to constraint to.
Try pick from one face to another and then constrain the two...

My first post here, I would like to know if catia has any tool to delete the underlying math data of a surface.
For example in rhino you can use a command called "shrinktrimsurface"
In catia v5 I get several surfaces from ALIAS and sometimes catia fails to create basic operations...
