Hoerner's handbook is/was the bible of air vehicle design.
I don't know about current availability. His wife used to publish it out of Bricktown NJ. jk
Historically if you worked for a contractor it could be obtained free from the approiate Wright-Patterson group.
You have to do some work to find the point-of-contact. I recall in the 70's I recieved 22 2000 punch card boxes. Those were the days. I got Missile Datcom several years ago on disks. - jk
There are plots of these in a book I think is titled "Handbook for Naval Aviators". Published by the Government. This is very good reference for pilots and others concerning practical aerodynamics. - jk
Later versions of MATLAB will load "flat ascii" or plan text files as well as excell spread sheets. Use the "help load" command at the prompt. It is common practice to use MATLAB to data from other languages. Use the FORTRAN format to delineate by spaces.- jk
The Late Dr. Sigfried Hoerner's book's "Aerodynamic Lift" and "Aerodynamic Drag" have been the Bible of aircraft prelimiary design for years. They contain information on the effect of Lift and Drag on buildings. Several years ago they were sold by his wife out of bricktown...
This is late. I agree with the above. I have validated MATLAB the converts from DCM to quat to DCM. Will e-mail it you are interested. Texts by SIDI and Jack Kuineper? are good. They are on Amazon. - jk
