    Mystery Flathead Screw

lumenharold , You are right that is the closest I have seen, if it only had a phillips head instead of the slotted head I would kiss you, lucky for me and you it isnt the exact screw. Tempted to try them but the old fashion slotted head proves to be worthless in many application. Thanks...

Flathead fastener to set flush in sheet metal

I would appreciate it if someone could give me the technical term for this flathead screw. http://www.vegasamusement.com/eng/Mystery_Flathead_Screw.jpg I have searched high and low for this fastener with no success. The screw I measured was one that I found on a computer case. I am in need of...

    Mystery Flathead Screw

unclesyd, I do not know the exact angle of the head, and i have no way of checking it other than doing the math. The bottom line is this screw will actually screw in flat to a .072 (14 Ga) piece of sheet metal. This is due to the fact that you cannot countersink sheet metal over 1/2 the depth of...

Some of the manufacturers...

    Macros

Am I missing something or is this just a functionality issue. I am amazed that you cannot create macros in Solid Edge without the use of VB. Solidworks has the ability to create simple key stroke macros, with the ability to edit them after they have been created. Does anyone now if this is...

    Changing Part Number/Move files

I use a sequential number for the filename & I also use the file properties as well. I find it easier to do it this way when you have 1000+ parts in an assembly. Thanks for the feedback....

    Changing Part Number/Move files

I currently have an assembly of approx 1000 parts, which consist's of many sub assemblies. I want to be able to change the part numbers and move the parts to a different directory structure with out loosing or having to recreate my assemblies. Is this possible in Solid Edge Ver16. I am able to...
