Can anyone provide a tip on adding fillets to a part that will require many of them? I worked on a part recently that had several fillets. I was trying to figure out a way make the fillets easier. Some areas were very tight to reach, which required to zoom in on the edge.
I have an assembly that requires components that have an angle constraint. When I add the angle constraint it rotates the assembly the same amount as the angle constraint is. How do I avoid this rotation?
Did you ever find info on your geodesic domes? A good start is studying a soccer ball. This consist of hexagons and pentagons. The size of your dome and how it the polygons interlock together is a function of the size of the polygons.
The system consists of a 4 wheel cart with a 150mm x 200mm footprint. The cart moves weight around. The cart's motion should move along a flat surface at about 3mm/sec; forward and reverse. The weight of the cart is approximately 9kg. An umbilical cord is attached to the cart which consists of...
I need assistance in choosing a motor to move a system approx. 3mm/sec. The weight of the system is 9kg (footprint of the unit is 150mm X 200 mm) . I probably want to have this unit move from standing still to moving in 1-2 seconds. The wheel material is a neoprene rubber. The surface this would...
Looking for pointers in working with spheres. One question I have is how to extrude hole cuts on the surface of a sphere having the center lines point to the center of the sphere? Thanks for the help!!!
Thank you for your assistance. I am somewhat confused on the use of the centerlines, center mark, centerline cross, and several of the other commands. Can these commands be used in both model space and paper space? I know the centerline cross command works in model or paper space. The center...
Can anyone assist in duplicating the patterns on a soccer ball (hexgons and pentagons) constrained by the specific circumscribed diameter of each polygon? Each point must interlock. Can anyone give me a few pointers?
