We have silver steel(BS1407) threaded studs which will have chrome plated nuts placed on them. What is the best corrosion protection for the studs. We are considering nickel plating the studs. Our other option is to replace the studs with a different material.

We are removing Aluminium 7075-T7351 from a part and we need to heat it up to remove it. What is the maximum temperature we can go to without changing the mechanical properties? We only need to spend about five minutes at that temperature.
