Hey guys, I am currently cutting a hole with a diameter of around .2 in 1/2 inch steel. I'm getting them cut but they are far from pretty. Anyone more experienced than I have any suggestions? My cond. are 2200 W 30 imp .8 gas pressure nozzle focus gap of .06 with -.03 in the material and .03...
thanks for the suggestions guys, I actually got the dish detergent to work and it solved all the problems....strange tho. I'm wondering who the first person was to think of that and how they reached that conclusion.

Hello all,
I'm currently cutting .25 alum on my Mitsubishi 4K laser. on longer cuts it seems to jump to the top of the material. I changed the lens to rule out thermal distortion. and I'm getting ready to try dish detergent to "fog" the top of the material (I heard it had been done before)...
I'm using a 4k mitsu, and it's been great so far and the service is impeccable. We went this route after researching the costs associated with repairs and replacements and felt this was our best option.
Hope this helps
