Call out will overwrite anything in the general tolerance table
Normally I don't control fillet radius unless it's a critical feature to avoid interference or stress concentration.
My current company doesn't perform any stack up analysis before they release product, and I am very new to this topic.
Here's the loop diagram for the shelf that consist of top and bottom chassis where screws are fastened through the side into.

2 -...
Hi all,
I am sourcing a thin flat head thread-forming screws (M4) for a computer case fan (with 3.2mm mounting hole) used in one of my design parts for production, but fastenals or McMaster Carr don't seem to have them.
So I wonder if these thread-forming case fan screws have any regulatory...
@3DDave
This is going to be one deep groove on the bottom part, and one shallow groove on the top mating part.
The groove dimension will follow what parker suggested.
However, in terms of GD&T profiling, how should I dimension them to make sure the tolerance of groove position do not misalign...
I have designed an enclosure seal groove
The groove is a continuous feature that has a cross section cut of 1.6mm Deep x 2mm Wide where the groove centerline cuts along the entire enclosure 6mm from the outer edge
Please see the picture attached
Here's my rationale and assumption for the design part. Sorry for the lousy hand sketch and I may have some detail missed, but feel free to change or correct me if I am wrong:
1. Since mating surface are important, datum A has been chosen as primary datum of BOTH parts, you may also define...
