Hello,
We replaced the bearings of a motor. After commissioning the vibration acceleration levels on the DE side (consisting of two bearings) are high. However, they decrease significantly after the lubrication operations.
The vibration velocities in mm/s remain stable.
What conclusions can...
I aim to simulate the ABB ACS1000 VFD in ETAP. However, I am encountering an issue where the current VFD model in ETAP allows for only a single power input, whereas the ABB ACS1000 VFD features two power inputs, as depicted in the photo. Is there a way to address this limitation?
the MV motor is for a vertical raw mill before starting it a prepartion need to be done by the operator it consist of Preparing a layer of material on the table, this is only possible by turning the table at low speed in the first place, that's why the LV motor(6) and its gearbox are needed...
No its Not a synchronous Motor, the LV motor is used to start the application not the MV motor!https://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=b5e13f75-1d28-465b-8272-acea2ca57834&file=Groupe_de_commande_.png
Attached the rotor electrical measureshttps://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=5398dd3e-6f92-4c41-b0cf-c94ae725ed92&file=Rotor_electrical_values.mp4
drive chain also contains a turn group dedicated to starting the application the latter is composed of a squirrel cage motor and a gearbox the same phenomenon of current fluctuation was observed which made us suspect less the rotor circuit of the MV motor.
Thank you for your replies,
The motor Data:
- Nominal power : 2800 KW
- Voltage : 5,5 KV
- Nomiunal Current : 364 A
- Speed : 994 RPM
By monitoring the power and the current we observed that before the breakdown by 4 days,an abnormal current fluctuation Min-max...
Hi All,
I would like to have your thoughts on what coud be the cause of a detachment of a phase of the rotor winding from the slip ring, an explosion was seen. the détachement was internal as you can see on the photo attached.
the moment of the failure the relay tripped by (blocked rotor/direct...
it was done by an ABB technician, according to him The autotune failed cause the motor is old (10 years of running)!! this is why he only relied on motor nameplate
the response of ABB comissioning engineer is: "it was noticed that the drive tripped 3 times on NP voltage on very low speeds , this indicates that the motor model is not accurate 100% and this was clear while commissioning since the motor is very old and we don’t have the equivalent circuit we...
the drive has been operating for almost 10 years with no problems, an upgrade of it has been done recently which consist of software and hardware components, the problem is just occuring at low speed !!!
Dear iop95, thank you for your response yes it's the point N marked in the schematic, and the fault occur at low speed which correspond to low torque (fan application), i didn't see the relation between the Vn balance and the speed, also in the troubleshooting manuel they suggest to check the...
Dear All,
What could be the cause of the Neutral point unbalance fault in the inverter while the motor is running at low speed?
For information this is the sequence of events
183.58.3 "NP Voltage "
183.72.1 "AMC: Fault Class 2 "
6.21.7 "INU Tripped "
6.21.19 "INU...
Hello everybody
Can someone give me an idea where i can find Damage curves of electrical equipment, i'm studying a selectivity in an electrical substation
