    Hi, does anybody know how ISO weld qualification standards treat plug/slot welds? They are not mentioned in ISO 15614 and logically you can argue that a fillet/lap joint procedure should cover plug weld - is that correct? Thanks

    Hi, I'm writing my first PQR/WPS and have a question regarding the interpretation of ISO 15614. The standard states that butt weld on pipe with OD>25 covers all diameters > 0.5D. Does this mean that it covers butt weld on plate with implied diameter of infinity? Thanks
