    CT Misconnection

Just to get a better picture, is the non-polarity side of A-phase CT brought to the relay current input common connection and the B and C phase non polarity left connectd but not brought in?

Fault Location for Phase to Phase Fault

I went through and did some circuit analysis and came up with the same results that you had posted, see attached. Thanks again for your help.http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=f0125371-a73b-4e68-b475-5bd5607a1a6d&file=A-C_Phase_fault.pdf

Fault Location for Phase to Phase Fault

Thank you for the clarification I understand now.

Fault Location for Phase to Phase Fault

When calculating the fault impedance for a C-A phase fault I am taking Vca/Ica to get Zca ( I am also assuming zero fault resistance). Is that the total loop impedance or is that the one way impedance to the fault? It seems to be the loop impedance to me but from what sources I have read they...

    Bus Differential & Lockout Relay

I've seen plenty of extremely reliable microprocessor relays fail, old fashioned LORs do have the advatage of not needing to be programmed at all.

    Basic Generator Utility Interconnection Resource

IEEE standard 1547 might be a good place to start.

    Aspen Breaker Rating Module

Ok thanks, that seems to make sense. I was thinking from the view that everything is ideal and timed perfectly.

    Aspen Breaker Rating Module

In the Aspen Breaker Rating module there is an example for breaker and a half configurations (Section 3.3.3 in the instructions) where it states for the breakers attached to one of the buses they consider the possibility that the breaker might have to interrupt the total bus current. I don't...

    Active Anti-Islanding Protection

Maybe you could key a DTT from the feeder breaker 52a contact to the DG and/or DG's on the feeder assuming these are radial feeds.

    remote synchronization

This might be a dumb question but can't the far end of the 110km line synch with the system first then the local end after that?
