Teamcenter Edit Properties Dialogue Box Disappears
When a user clicks edit properties (ie to edit the name) it pops up with the check out box, but the actual dialogue box to edit the details doesn't appear.

ive used this logic to associate a .prt to UGpart file
assoc .py=py_auto_file
ftype py_auto_file="C:\Anaconda\python.exe" "%1" %*
so i now get the following in command prompt
C:\Windows\system32>assoc .prt
.prt=UGpartfile
C:\Windows\system32> .prt=UGpartfile
'.prt' is not recognized...
I am unable to open CAD files from explorer (windows 10)
On clicking the file a NX window opens but i then have to either navigate to the file via "open" or if it is a PRT file i can drop it into the window. STP files does not allow the drop option.
After a quick google, i have looked into the...
NX 8.5.3.3
When exporting STP files i get the following error:
step203ug.exe - Entry Point Not Found
I have tried STP203 and STP214, both fail to export with the same error
I have also tried other parts....
I can however export these parts on a different machine, so im assuming its a local...
John, Thank you for your reply.
365 is installed locally but licenses etc are on the cloud.
It seems to work on some machines but not others.... which is a bit strange.
I have spoken with Team who have asked siemens directly and they ahve said that the cloud can cause issues....
Thanks again
We have just upgraded our office suite to 365 but some machines are having errors when updating parts tables using the Excel add-on.
I have checked all the options files and the UG add-on is active and has the same attributes as those on machines that do update there parts table via excel 365...
Does anyone have a BSP.hol file already created that can be shared?
We have a common need to use this type of thread, so i thought id ask before spending hours creating one from scratch.

Are there any tools available within NX8.5 that could assist in creating thinned vacform surfaces?
We have created a control face but need to create a thinned offset surface to allow nests to sit flush due to the large draw distance of the vaform tool.
The thinning ranges from 0.2mm to aroun...
Section has been attached
This is the control face, the offset face will need to be thinned, hence the requirement of a variable offset.
We have a measurement report, so know how much thinning will be required at certain points around the forming...
Creo 2.0 - ENG III Pack
I am relatively new to creo (especially the surfacing & Tooling side of things) so was wondering if i could have some help.
I am creating tooling for a deep draw vacformed part (draw is approx 600mm), which has come from our Industrial design department.
The Top (A...
Hi,
Pretty new to Creo, so may be an easy one.
Ive created a few Reps of an assembly, but would like to use one of them as default (ie when someone else pulls the assembly to their workspace via PDMLink), the assembly loads using the newly created default simp rep rather than the master rep it...
Hi, yes this is on the 3D rather than 2D.
As noted in the original post we have used a cut (when sectioning a part) or assembly cut (when sectioning an assy) but as John metntioned, although it gives the desired effect, its kind of a "bodge".
However, if the PMI license is required, it may be...
we dont have PMI licesnes which would now explain why it doesnt work in the lightweight section.
Has this always been the case?, im sure that I could do it in older versions?
The way we have got around it before to to use to sketch our section and cut (or assembly cut) the section out.
Thanks...
NX 8.5
I would like to create a stepped / segemented section view within the 3D model.
I know this is possible in 2D by adding segments to a standard section.
I have managed to get round this by creating a cutter and either doing a cut or assy cut, but wonder if there is an easier way using...
we are in the process of updating our drivers as some users have experienced Rotation/Pan/Zoom errors (the screen locks up on load), which TEAM have suggested.
Hopefully updating them will also solve this problem.
Thanks to all that have contributed.
in the part, the sketch is located on Layer 21.
I have added this to the visable section in view selection, but still only the dimensions appear when in sketcher, when editing the part through the assembly.
no, not obscured.
If i rotate the plane, i can clearly see that the sketch itself it there, all dimensions are present, but they are just floating as no sketch lines are visible.
When i say reload, i was actually referring to just changing the window to the assembly (as im having to modify the...
