Sketch Lines not visable when editing them through an Assembly

When editing a sketch through a part all is fine.

When editing in context, through the assembly, (Ie, make work part and then modify the sketch),
Only the dimensions appear, no sketch lines??

This seems to be an uncommon problem, but not sure why it does it and it pretty fustrating as i then have to modify the part out of context adn reload the assemmbly to ensure the update is sufficient.

I have checked layers (sketch is on layer 21, and turned on in both part and model)

Did you try switching reference set to "entire part"?

yes, i thought that it may be a reference set issue so tried the default Model, Entire part and the Assembly one that has been created, but no luck.

Through the Show/Hide features? yes, but there are limited options when in sketcher

Is the sketch geometry obscured by other solid or sheet geometry? There are some selection settings that will highlight the sketch through these other bodies.

There should be no need to reload the assembly after a part is modified. If you are forced to reload, something isn't right...

no, not obscured.
If i rotate the plane, i can clearly see that the sketch itself it there, all dimensions are present, but they are just floating as no sketch lines are visible.

When i say reload, i was actually referring to just changing the window to the assembly (as im having to modify the part in another window)

in the part, the sketch is located on Layer 21.
I have added this to the visable section in view selection, but still only the dimensions appear when in sketcher, when editing the part through the assembly.

Could just be a graphics issue.
Have you tried updating your graphics card driver?

we are in the process of updating our drivers as some users have experienced Rotation/Pan/Zoom errors (the screen locks up on load), which TEAM have suggested.
Hopefully updating them will also solve this problem.
