    That's right PRC, however I feel if they are going to be subjected to switching surges.. then more relevant is switching impulse test rather than Lightning impulse test. Thanks..

    hi Thanks Preben also API RP 14 F states the same about the lighting. however as you have indicated that in north sea that there is a practice of installing only the service light. does that imply that there is no mandatory requirements for lighting for NUI ? regards

    Hi, On a fixed offshore oil & gas structure which is completely metallic, Is there any need for a common bonding network, if each equipment is bonded to the metallic structure by cad weld. Thanks in advance. Regards Jay
