We have just now moved from NX9 to NX10. The problem I have is that the background color of the NX10 tool bars is too light for me and all the icons are hard to see. I want to make NX10 look like I had it in NX9
but instead it looks like this
can anyone tell me how to change this...
I am running NX9 and have created a part family. Is there a way in the choose family member dialog box to limit the number of choices? In the attached pic I only want the “TYPE” “DIAMETER” and “LENGTH” to be able to be selected. Is there a way to hide all the other attributes?

Are we talking about when working on a Drawing or as just a normal Assembly file? - Yes
Are these Components part of a sub-assembly? - No
After performing the 'Show' operation on the Component, did it change the Component item from 'grayed-out' to normal text display in the Assembly Navigator...

Thank your for the suggesting the command finder. I used it to change the background color when I draw models. My problem is the white screen when you start NX or do not have a model open. Every command to change the background color I have come across works only if a model is present.

I check and I do have an Advanced Assemblies option. I played with the wrap function and to makes the machine way to prismatic. The machines still need to look like the machine. It there a way to just extract the outer most surfaces?
