All right, for those in my situation, there is a way to clock a single instance in a pattern by double-clicking the feature in the assembly tree.
So, this may be a valuable solution when only a few instances need to be clocked and you still need them in a part of an array to keep a fast...
I found this but I can't use our part family as reuse library parts.

The fastener assembly function seemed promising but I can't set that up on my own according to this thread. So I guess I'm kind of screwed for this assembly and I'll have to...
Hi,
I'm using NX 7.5.5.4 and I've just had a look at Fastener assembly function. Can I use this function with my own company fasteners (aerospace bolts and nuts)? I've looked in the NX on context help and it would seem it can only use reusable component... We have a teamcenter with part families...

Hi, I've made some searches and it seems I can't find a definite answer.
My concern is I have an unequally spaced bolt pattern on a circular diameter. Using the instance function isn't much of a time saver so I used 2 sketches and two hole functions. The reason I have two...
Hi,
I've got a problem with the hole function in NX 7.5. It would seem I can't use UNF threads although they're in the thd_english.dat file in the data directory. I don't know if I'm just missing something or if anyone else has experienced something like this.
Thanks
The processor helps but it's mainly the graphic card and the RAM that do the work when modeling. There's also a thing to keep in mind, even if you have the most powerful PC you need a good network connection if you work within a vault like Teamcenter.
To answer your question about handling big...
yes I'm working in inches and the parts has been created in inches. I've tried the edit/feature/playback and no error were reported. The problem is still there but the two problematic holes aren't the same anymore on the circular pattern (2 out 6 are «invalid radius»)...[ponder]
I'm kind of...
Hi,
the circles come from a «Simple hole» that is instanced in a circular array. The holes are through the part who is a circular ring. They pierce through a radius on the exit side. I checked the tolerance and they were to 0.0001, I don't know if that's usually enough.
The thing that's really...

Hi everyone,
looks like this issue was already raised but the threads seems a little old. I'm wondering if anyone could find a fix for this issue. I mean, automatic centerline function creates xy oriented center marks instead of using the pattern reference circle. When trying to...
Hi all,
I've got a weird problem on my hands with NX 7.5 with some (not all of them, that's the weird part imo) identification symbols in an assembly. The problem is that some of them seem to loose their associativity: instead of being the usual aquamarine color, they turn to the kind of brown...
